Aphrodita bedeutet die „Schaumgeborene“. Die Schaumproduktionsmaschine wird zur Protagonistin. Die Tonspur mit Zitaten aus La pensée sauvage [Das wilde Denken] (1962), gesprochen vom Autor Claude Lévi-Strauss selbst, sowie drei Musikstücke aus den USA der 1950er und 1960er Jahre lassen die Vorstellung des Wilden, Exotischen auf einer sinnlichen Ebene aufleben.
Aphrodita—the Greek goddess, born from foam. This video has the foam production machine as its protagonist. Its soundtrack with quotations from La pensée sauvage [The Savage Mind] (1962), spoken by author Claude Lévi-Strauss himself, as well as three musical compositions from the USA of the 1950s and 1960s lets something wild and exotic come to life on a sensual level.
