What happens when two species that have never met before suddenly encounter each other due to human-induced climate change? The work First Encounters is an attempt to answer this question. Based on empirical data, Sophie Falkeis creates scenarios of species encounter and looks at possible consequences for our human lives and systems through the lens of Speculative Design.
