Description
-
This cylindrical masonry heater in the Empire style is divided into sections: in the center are Orpheus and Eurydice in relief, accompanied by a putto; to the left and right there is a muse playing a lyre. Above there is a frieze of putti, and above that an acanthus frieze. The heater was electrified in the 20th century, meaning that the firebox was replaced with heating elements.
