Description
    gleiches Bild: vgl. BI 17445-41 Blatt aus einem Album mit Gekkōs Serie “Gekkō zuihitsu 月耕随筆”. Der berühmte Bildhauer Hidari Jingorō 左甚五郎 (16./17. Jh., auch Hidano Jingorō genannt), der unter anderem als Schöpfer der schlafenden Katze (nemuri neko 眠り猫) im Tōshōgū-Schrein in Nikkō (Nikkō Tōshōgū 日光東照宮) gilt. Gekkō zeigt ihn hier beim Studium der weiblichen Anatomie in einer sehr entspannten Haltung, vor sich eine Sakeflasche und eine Sakeschale. Hinten einige Arbeiten von ihm. Signatur nicht vorhanden.
