Description

Hiroshigehitsu 廣重筆 70 Blätter, hier: Blatt 68 Die Insel Iki 壱岐, eine der elf Provinzen des Saikaidō 西海道, liegt in der Genkai-See nordwestlich des Regierungsbezirks Saga. Hauptsächlich aus Basalt aufgebaut, ist der höchste Punkt der Insel der Vulkan Dakenotsuji. In früheren Zeiten war Iki ein lebendiger Umschlagplatz zwischen Japan und dem asiatischen Festland.
