Description
    Hiroshigehitsu 廣重筆 70 Blätter, hier: Blatt 18 Awa 安房 ist eine der 15 Provinzen der Tōkaidō 東海道. Der kleine Fischerhafen Kominato an der Ostküste von Awa ist die Geburtsstätte der buddhistischen Sekte Nichiren (nichiren-shū 日蓮宗), die 1253 vom Priester Nichiren 日蓮 (d.i. Sonnen-Lotos; 1222–1282) gegründet wurde.
