Description
    Hiroshigega 廣重画 Station 48, Blatt 48 (eigentlich 49). Tōkaidō 東海道-Serie im chūban 中判-Format mit 54 Blättern, da Shimada 島田 und Kanaya 金谷 auf einem Blatt kombiniert wurden. Hiroshige wählt hier für die Station Sakanoshita 坂の下 eine Ansicht, die er auch schon in früheren Serien verwendet hat: Ein Teehaus mit Ausblick auf den Fudesuteyama (Berg des weggeworfenen Pinsels) und dem Kiyotaki (Reiner Wasserfall).
