Description
- runde Bildplatte mit farbig bemalter Szene eines runden Hirten, umgeben von seiner Herde Ziegen und bewacht von seinem Hund, in einer an einem Fluß liegenden Ruinenlandschaft, im Vordergrund auf zwei antiken Postamenten Inschriften: "DA F.A.X. GRVE P." und "P.Q.R"
- Seven roundels with pastoral and similar scenes; at least four are signed by Dr Francesco Antonio Xaverio Grue (1686-1746). Probably Castelli (though he did also work in Naples for a time), by FAX Grue, c.1720-50. At least some of these are illustrated in the monograph on FAX Grue by Luciana Arbace (2005)
