Mondon le Fils ist dieselbe Person wie François-Thomas Mondon, Sohn des Goldschmied Pasquier Mondon († 1753) und Bruder des Pasquier-Remy Mondon (c. 1712-nach 1784). Lange, aber irrtümlich, identifiziert mit einem nicht existierenden Jean Mondon. François-Thomas Mondon bekommt am 6. März 1736 ein königliches Privileg für 12 Jahre (Fuhring 1986, Nr. 48). Am 24. März Vereinigung zwischen Mondon und Antoine Aveline für die Ausgaben dieser Stiche. Die Serien A und B werden im Mercure de France angekündigt für April 1736 (S. 768).
