Gosotei Toyokuniga 後素亭豊國画
Serie mit populären Kurtisanen und den Hundert Dichtern. Der Titel spielt auf die Gedichtsammlung “Hyakunin isshu 百人一首” an, in der hundert Dichter mit je einem Gedicht vertreten sind. Besondern beliebt war im Zusammenhang mit dieser Gedichtsammlung ein gleichnamiges Kartenspiel. In der Art einer Spielkarte wird hier der jeweilige Dichter mit seinem Gedicht präsentiert. Hier Kakinomoto no Hitomaro 柿本人麻呂, der dritte in der Gedichtsammlung. Im Vordergrund die Kurtisane Akome aus dem Ōgiya (Fächerhaus), die an ihre drei Futon gelehnt auf dem Boden sitzt. Je mehr Futons, desto höher der Rang der Kurtisane. In der Hand hält sie einen Stoß Papiertücher.
