Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshiga 一勇齋國芳画
Serie von Kuniyoshi mit Vergleichen zwischen den 54 Kapiteln des Genji-Romans (Genji monogatari 源氏物語 in Form von Gedichten auf einer Schriftrolle) und historischen und legendären Personen Japans. Die Schriftrolle zeigt ein Gedicht aus dem 45. Kapitel “Hashihime 橋姫 ” des Genji-Romans und einen Weidenbaum an einer Brücke. Im Bild die Hofdame Chidori mit zwei Samurai-Schwertern in den Händen. Auf der Brücke ihre Verfolger (?). Nachtszene, dunkle Häuser im Hintergrund.
