In ihrer Forschungsarbeit BOTANICA entwickelte das Studio Formafantasma (Andreas Trimarchi, Simone Farresin) alternative Kunststo e, die auf natürlichen Rohsto en der Pre-Bakelit-Ära basieren: etwa Holzmehl vermengt mit Ochsenblut („Bois Durci“) oder Kopalharz aus Baumharzen. Mit den experimentellen Materialien wurde eine Gefäßserie realisiert. In its research work BOTANICA , studio Formafantasma (Andreas Trimarchi, Simone Farresin) developed alternative plastics based on natural resources from the pre-Bakelite era: such as wood our mixed with oxblood (“Bois Durci”) or Copal resin made of tree resin. A series of vessels was realized with the experimental materials.
