Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshiga 一勇齋國芳画
Serie von Kuniyoshi mit Vergleichen zwischen den 54 Kapiteln des Genji-Romans (Genji monogatari 源氏物語, in Form von Gedichten auf einer Schriftrolle) und historischen und legendären Personen Japans. Die Schriftrolle zeigt ein Gedicht aus dem 33. Kapitel “Fuji no Uraba 藤裏葉” des Genji-Romans und eine Schöpfkelle. Im Bild Hirobei. Nachtszene, im Hintergrund Schattenfigur am Fenster, die Figuren darunter heben sich hell gegen den dunklen Hintergrund ab.
