Shunshōga 春章画
Eine Szene aus dem 68. Kapitel: Ein Mann macht eine Reise in die Provinz Izumi. Am Strand von Sumiyoshi geht er spazieren und ist überwältigt von der Schönheit der Landschaft. Als jemand vorschlägt, Gedichte zu verfassen, in denen der Strand von Sumiyoshi vorkommt, spricht der Mann das oben stehende Gedicht. Die anderen sind davon so beeindruckt, dass sie es unterlassen, selbst Gedichte zu verfassen. Im Hintergrund das Dach des Schreins, Sumiyoshi Taisha 住吉大社, der dem Sumiyoshi-kami geweiht ist.
