Description
    mittlerer Teil des Triptychons (vgl. KI 7720-4 + KI 7720-6) Kokuteisha Toyokuniga 國貞舎豊國画 Ein prächtig gekleideter junger Mann bringt Neujahrsgeschenke. Könnte eine Anspielung auf den Genji-Roman (Genji monogatari 源氏物語) sein, da Ärmeln und Schultern das Wappen der Minamoto-Sippe (Sasarindō, Gentianen und Bambusblätter) zu sehen ist, der Prinz Genji angehörte. Neben ihm ein junger Gehilfe, der im Begriff ist, Stoffrollen auf den Boden zu legen. Dort liegen schon viele andere Geschenke, wie feierlich verpacktes Papier, Schachteln, Täschchen,... Im Hintergrund eine große Lackkiste, in der noch weitere Geschenke liegen.
