Szene aus dem reichen Legendschatz um die Rache der zwei Soga-Brüder 曽我兄弟. Kajiwara Genta Kagesue 梶原景季 sitzt auf einer Veranda und hält eine Schale (sakazuki 盃) mit Sake vor sich. Ein junges Mädchen bedient ihn. Vor ihm ein Gestell mit Speisen und eine Lampe. Im Garten blühende Kirschbäume. Kagesue hätte einst die Soga-Brüder, die ihren Vater rächen wollten, töten sollen.
