Description
    ōju Kunisadaga 應需國貞画 Blatt 38, Station 37. Serie von Schönheiten im Vergleich mit den 53 Stationen des Tōkaidō (Tōkaidō gojūsan tsugi 東海道五十三次), die von Hiroshiges Tōkaidō-Serie entnommen wurden bzw. dieser nachgeahmt wurden. Auch hier hält sich Kunisada wieder sehr genau an Hiroshiges Vorlage. Im Vordergrund eine Frau im grünen Kimono und mit schwarz-rotem obi (Gürtel). Über dem Kimono trägt sie eine Schürze, die mit Glyzinien (fuji) verziert ist. Sie trägt einen Bottich, in dem ein blau-weiß gemustertes Gewand liegt. Die Frau ist wohl gerade beim Wäschewaschen.
