Description
-
Flute clock construction of the organ mechanism by P. Primitivus Niemecz, the librarian and court chaplain at the Esterházy court, comprising the original flute mechanism and an initially unrelated mantel clock. The mantel clock is attributed to Peter Rau; the bronzes Wettstreit der schönen Künste [Contest between the fine arts] are probably by Franz Detler. The organ housing with a flute mechanism plays seven melodies by Joseph Haydn.
