Koryūsaiga 湖龍齋画
Zwei Kurtisanen ein Gesteck aus Zweigen mit Pflaumenblüten betrachtend. Beide Kurtisanen mit nach vorn gebundenem Gürtel (obi).
Die im Serientitel genannten „nördlichen“ Freudenhäuser beziehen sich auf Yoshiwara, das auch als „nördliches Freudenviertel“ bezeichnet wurde. Den Gegenpart bildete das “südliche Freudenviertel” in Shinagawa.
