Chōōrō Kuniyoshiga 朝櫻樓國芳画
Serie von Kuniyoshi mit Vergleichen zwischen den 54 Kapiteln des Genji-Romans (Genji monogatari 源氏物語, in Form von Gedichten auf einer Schriftrolle) und historischen und legendären Personen Japans. Die Schriftrolle zeigt ein Gedicht aus dem 30. Kapitel “Fujibakama 藤袴 (im Titel: 蘭)” des Genji-Romans und Blumen. Im Bild Iwafuji im schwarzen Kimono und mit Schirm. Einfache Frisur, wenig Haarschmuck. Neben ihr ein Mann mit einer Kiste unter dem Arm. Dahinter blühende Kerrien (yamabuki) und ein Zaun.
