Description
    Blatt 31, Station 30. Tōkaidō-Serie (Tōkaidō gojūsan tsugi 東海道五十三次) von Hokusai mit 56 Blätter, wobei sich im MAK 48 Blätter dieser Serie befinden. Maisaka 舞阪 liegt direkt am Meer und ist nur durch eine schmale Meerenge von Arai, der nächsten Station, getrennt. Da der Weg über Land hier zu beschwerlich ist, geht der gesamte Reiseverkehr auf der Landstraße auf Fährbooten über diese Meeresenge. Hier mehrere Reisende mit ihrem Gepäck am Strand. Zwei Fährmänner sind gerade dabei, das Gepäck in den Booten zu verstauen.
