1962 entwickelten Victor Papanek und George Seeger für die UNESCO das Tin Can Radio. Der äußerst kostengünstige Monoempfänger für den Selbstbau in Entwicklungsländern besteht aus einer alten Blechdose mit einem Transistor, betrieben mit Paraffin und einem Docht. Vandasye Tin Can Radio 2014 Für das Designlabor interpretierte das Designerduo Vandasye das Tin Can Radio neu und gestaltete den Aufbau nachvollziehbarer. Tin Can Radio In 1962, Victor Papanek and George Seeger developed the Tin Can Radio for UNESCO.
