The MAK Online Collection presents a representative cross section from the following collection areas for scientific research purposes: Asia, Library and Works on Paper, Design, Contemporary Art, Glass and Ceramics, Furniture and Woodwork, Metal and Wiener Werkstätte Archive, and Textiles and Carpets. The presentation of the collection is constantly being extended and updated.

Users may access the contents only for their personal use, and only within the framework of the functions of the website provided. Insofar as the rights to specific objects have not been clarified at the time when they are put online, images of such objects will not yet be shown in the MAK Online Collection.
