Ein Kabuki-Schauspieler in einer Rolle. Rechts unten beim Wappen sind Vorzeichnungen sichtbar. Signatur Baidō Kunimasahitsu 梅堂国政筆 auf dem Bild sowie hanmoto gakō Takeuchi Eiji 版元画工竹内英次. Sowohl Baidō Kunimasa 梅堂国政 als auch Takeuchi Eikyū 竹内栄久 sind Namen, mit denen Utagawa Kunisada III. 三代目歌川國貞 signiert hat.
