Description: "Dyed ground" (jizomari 地染). Kasamatsu 笠松: "plaited" hat pine tree; pine tree with branches spread on all sides. The pattern of evergreen pine trees that withstand the severe winter cold is auspicious and a symbol of both longevity and sobriety, as well as the prosperity of the descendants.
