Description

"Dyed ground" (jizomari 地染), probably part of a set (hazure はずれ). Hand fan sheets with motifs such as: flowers, broad-leaf bamboo, pine, plum blossoms with cracked ice. Willow branches as ryūsui 流水 ("running water"; streamlines).
Nagare 流れ/nagashi 流し “floating…”: a motif of objects/plants floating on the water. The pattern is reminiscent of the passage of time.
