Keisai Eisenga 渓斎英泉画
Blatt 9, Station 8 der Serie Kiso dōchū 岐阻道中 (Stationen an der Kiso Straße) im Vergleich mit schönen Kurtisanen. Hier die hochrangige Kurtisane Hozue mit üppigem Haarschmuck und prächtigem Kimono. Auf dem Kimono ein plastisch wirkender Pfau. Der Gürtel (obi 帯) ist mit ebenso plastisch wirkenden Päonien verziert. Sie steht in der Hauptstraße des Freudenviertels Yoshiwara, in der eine Reihe von Kirschbäumen stehen, die eingezäunt sind und von Lampen gesäumt sind. Das kleine Bild zeigt die Station Ōiso 大磯 mit Bergen.
